Lawyers and the use of an expert forensic lipreader in a courtroom (a brief observation).

Most lawyers believe they have a strong case when they have a witness testimony. But sometimes this is not enough to establish the facts of the case to judge and jury.

Maybe it was time lawyers considered the use of an expert forensic lipreader.

Courtroom scene with a lawyer in a suit holding papers, a judge seated behind a wooden bench, and a person in a white blazer in foreground.

Let's suppose the crime was captured on CCTV (without sound). An expert forensic lipreader assigned to scrutinise this footage for any unheard conversation can offer more evidence in the form of a court-admissible transcript to support the witness testimony in a courtroom.

Is this something that is overlooked in the courtroom today?
